Bigg Boss 17 contestant Vicky Jain addressed speculations surrounding his relationship with co-contestant Mannara Chopra in a recent interview with Pinkvilla. Vicky, who is married to Ankita Lokhande, clarified that the discussions about his closeness with Mannara were unfounded and not as portrayed on social media. He emphasized that the dynamics between them were not as speculated, especially considering Ankita and Mannara did not have a positive rapport on the show.
In Hindi, Vicky Jain explained, “Sometimes people tend to focus on trivial details, like giving compliments, and create doubts about something more between me and Mannara. If you think logically, my wife is present there in front of the cameras, so the possibility of anything happening is not even conceivable. It may seem like that, but there was nothing of the sort.”
He further elaborated, “Bigg Boss gave me the tagline of Vicky Bhaiya (brother) from day one, and everyone respected me with that title due to my age and interactions. The relationship I had with people was based on that. Living together for 100 days naturally brings people closer, but it’s just about talking with them. When you interact that much, questions arise. Every situation has two sides, and sometimes people want to perceive the other side.”
Regarding his relationship with Ankita Lokhande and the conflicts that made headlines during Bigg Boss 17, Vicky Jain spoke with Hindustan Times in his first post-show interview. He acknowledged that the intense atmosphere of the game affected their priorities, leading to occasional clashes. Vicky, a businessman who took time off for the show, admitted that he could have been more considerate of Ankita’s emotional needs.
Ankita Lokhande, one of the top 5 finalists on the show, alongside Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra, did not win the trophy, which was claimed by Munawar Faruqui.
