ANI, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the second edition of the Infinity Forum today. During this address, he emphasized the significance of deliberating on the economic policies of the 21st century in the Gift City, which adds to the pride of Gujarat. “I congratulate the people of Gujarat on this achievement,” he added.
Speaking about India’s growth story, PM Modi stated, “India has emerged as a splendid example of resilience and progress. Deliberating on the economic policies of the 21st century in the Gift City during such a crucial period adds to the pride of Gujarat.”
He highlighted that the growth story of India has demonstrated to the world that when policy is given top priority, when complete efforts are made for good governance, and when the welfare of the country and its citizens is the foundation of economic policies, remarkable results follow. India’s economy has progressed at a rate of 7.7% in the first six months of this financial year.
PM Modi expressed that today, the world faces one of the greatest challenges, which is climate change. Due to being one of the largest economies globally, India also recognizes these concerns. He stated, “Today, the world looks at India with hope, and this has not happened by chance. It is a reflection of India’s strong economy and the transformative reforms undertaken in the last 10 years.”
Talking about Gujarat’s recent achievement, PM Modi mentioned that UNESCO recently included Gujarat’s traditional dance Garba in the Intangible Cultural Heritage. He expressed, “This is a significant accomplishment in itself. The success of Gujarat is the success of the country.”
