Both the central and state governments have urged people to celebrate this day like Diwali.
In Gujarat, a holiday has also been declared to celebrate the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. Officials announced that all state government offices would remain closed until 2:30 PM on January 22 to allow people to participate in the celebration. The notice issued on Thursday night mentioned the nationwide celebration of the consecration ceremony of the idol of Lord Ram as a child in the newly constructed temple in Ayodhya.
In Rajasthan, Chief Minister Bhagwan Lal Sharma announced a half-day holiday on January 22 in celebration of the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. After addressing a BJP legislative party meeting on Thursday night, the Chief Minister informed that a half-day holiday would be observed in the state on January 22.
In Assam, a half-day holiday has been declared in government offices and magistrate courts until 2:30 PM on January 22. This decision was made to allow employees to participate in the celebration of the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya.
Odisha has also declared a half-day holiday for government offices and institutions on January 22 until 2:30 PM. The government expressed joy in announcing the holiday to allow people to celebrate the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
Madhya Pradesh has declared a half-day holiday on January 22 for all state government offices and institutions in celebration of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The state government issued a notice on Thursday, stating that all offices and institutions would remain closed until 2:30 PM on January 22.
In Haryana, the state government announced a half-day holiday on January 22, in accordance with the notice issued by the central government. According to the notice, government offices in the state will remain closed until 2:30 PM on the day of the consecration ceremony.
Tripura has also declared a half-day holiday on January 22 in response to the celebration of the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The state government issued a notice stating that all government offices and institutions would remain closed until 2:30 PM on that day to allow employees to witness the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya.
