It’s not the first time that videos of Japanese Ambassador Sujuki enjoying Indian cuisine have gone viral. Earlier this year in June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video featuring Ambassador Sujuki, expressing his delight in experiencing the diverse flavors of India.
Ambassador Hiroshi Sujuki visited the Sarojini Nagar area recently. This locality is renowned for its roadside markets and delectable street food. During his visit, the 61-year-old Ambassador was accompanied by his wife, Eiko Sujuki, and Hindi-speaking Japanese YouTuber Mayo.
He shared a video of their culinary adventure on X (formerly known as Twitter). In the caption, the Japanese Ambassador expressed his amazement at relishing desi dishes with Hindi-speaking Japanese YouTuber Mayo. He further wrote, “Aloo Tikki dijiye” (Please give us Aloo Tikki).
In the video, Ambassador Sujuki can be seen savoring street food. Additionally, he is shown exploring various shops and engaging in conversations with local store owners. Following the viral video, people have been commending the Japanese Ambassador for his interest in Indian culture.
This isn’t the first time that Ambassador Sujuki’s culinary experiences in India have garnered attention. Earlier this year in June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video featuring Ambassador Sujuki expressing his enjoyment of India’s culinary diversity.
Previously, the Japanese Ambassador also shared a video of himself savoring golgappas in Varanasi, the Prime Minister’s parliamentary constituency.
