India vs South Africa T20 Series: A 3-match T20 series is set to unfold between India and South Africa starting from December 10. However, one player has missed the opportunity to secure a spot in the team due to recent poor performance.
The initiation of Team India’s South Africa tour will be marked by a 3-match T20 series. Suryakumar Yadav, currently leading the team in the ongoing 5-match T20 series against Australia, will continue to captain in this series as well. He has included a player who showcased an excellent performance in the upcoming T20 series against South Africa. However, one player has not succeeded in making a mark in this team.
Player Missing a Spot in the T20 Series: Krishna, the renowned fast bowler, has failed to secure his place in the limited-overs series played during the South Africa tour. Krishna’s recent performance in the limited-overs format has not been extraordinary. He has also spent a considerable number of runs in the T20 series against Australia, impacting his chances in the current South Africa T20 series. Krishna has faced difficulty in establishing himself in both T20 and One Day International squads but has been included in the Test team.
Recent Embarrassing Record: In the third T20 match against Australia, Krishna set an embarrassing record. He conceded 68 runs in his allotted four overs without taking any wickets. With this performance, he became the Indian bowler to concede the most runs in a T20I match. It’s worth mentioning that Krishna made his T20 debut earlier this year against Ireland under the captaincy of Jasprit Bumrah.
