Mayank was issuing threats to Dr. Agarwal, the MD of Dr. Pranay of Vinayak Eye Hospital, over a dispute worth ₹16.43 crores that favored Dr. Pranay. When the PMO lodged a complaint about this incident, a case was registered. Dr. Agarwal owns over 100 eye hospitals in India and abroad.
Dr. Agarwal had previously engaged in a business deal with Dr. Pranay, the MD of Vinayak Eye Hospital in Indore. However, after this agreement, no work was done, and it turned into a fraudulent transaction. Subsequently, the tribunal had ordered Dr. Pranay to pay the full amount to Dr. Agarwal.
