The incident transpired on December 23 and endured for 28 harrowing hours. Following the sharing of a detailed post about the incident on X, Tata Motors responded to the situation.
A resident of Madhya Pradesh recounted a frightening episode in which his Tata Nexon skidded off the road after a tyre separation caused by a broken wheel hub. X user Tanmay Raju revealed that the incident took place on December 23 as his friends were en route from Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi to Prayagraj airport in Uttar Pradesh to pick him up. Fortunately, all occupants in the car emerged unharmed from the incident.
Later, when the trio attempted to seek assistance from Tata Motors, they encountered additional challenges.
“We faced difficulties seeking help from Tata Motors, who sent two uncooperative individuals with a towing truck. After an extended delay of over six hours, they informed us that we needed to arrange a hydra to lift the car back onto the road before they would tow it,” Raju conveyed in one of his tweets.
He added, “Left stranded, we endured a harrowing 28 hours in the field, facing cold temperatures without adequate food or water. Regrettably, Tata Motors later demanded payment for the tow truck despite their lack of assistance.” (Also Read: Bengaluru man receives ‘defective’ Tata Nexon from showroom, company responds)
The following day, Raju secured the services of a private tow truck, which transported the car to the Rewa Tata Motors workshop.

The project team sent by Tata Motors covered up the whole incident. My vehicle was lost totally, and I received only the insurance amount. I and my friend got minor injuries.”
A second commented, “You can never get a perfect car from Tata.”
“That’s sad,” posted a third.
