Redmi appears to be drawing closer to the launch of the Redmi 13C, and a recent unboxing video has unveiled the phone’s design and specifications. The Redmi 13C is anticipated to arrive in three color choices, including Clover Green, gray, and matte black. This upcoming phone is expected to follow the Redmi 12C, which was introduced in India in March this year.
According to a video from a tech channel called Eufracio López 502, the Redmi 13C appears to be available in Latin American retail stores but has not yet been officially launched. The unboxing video offers a comprehensive view of the phone, highlighting its key specifications and design elements.
The Redmi 13C boasts a flat-body design with three color options. The rear of the phone features a rectangular camera island housing a triple camera setup within two circular enclosures. The phone’s material is plastic. At the top center of the display, there is a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera. The right side of the handset houses the volume and power buttons, while the SIM tray is located on the left side. The phone is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
The video also provides insights into the key specifications of the Redmi 13C. It runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14.0.1 out of the box and features a 6.74-inch IPS display with full-HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
The video description indicates that the phone’s triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The Redmi 13C is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. It features a single speaker, a proximity sensor, and weighs 198 grams.
Many of the specifications mentioned in the video align with previous leaks about the Redmi 13C, including the color options, design elements, and camera setup.
