Actress Rashmika Mandanna has been chosen as the female lead alongside Dhanush in the upcoming film ‘D51,’ directed by National Award-winning filmmaker and renowned Tollywood director Sekhar Kammula.
National Award-winning actor Dhanush is set to collaborate with Sekhar Kammula for ‘D51,’ a film that will be crafted in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The latest development reveals that Rashmika Mandanna has been cast as the female lead in this exciting project.
This marks Rashmika Mandanna’s first collaboration with Dhanush, Sekhar Kammula, and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. She was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Varisu,’ starring Vijay, following her Tamil debut in 2021 with Karthi’s ‘Sulthan.’
Expressing her excitement, Rashmika Mandanna shared a video and wrote, “Beginning of a new journey 💃🏻❤️ #D51.”
The production team is also in discussions with prominent personalities to join the project. Further details about the cast and technical crew will be unveiled soon. The film is produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Suniel Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations.
