Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is set to be honored at the upcoming Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) in Saudi Arabia.
The film festival, scheduled to run from November 30 to December 9, aims to celebrate local and international filmmaking talents.
In addition to Ranveer, German actress Diane Kruger and veteran Saudi writer-actor Abdullah Al-Sadhan will also be recognized at the event.
According to Deadline, Mohammad Al-Turki, CEO of the Red Sea Film Foundation, stated, “This year, we will honor Ranveer Singh, an icon of Hindi cinema. Additionally, we will recognize German actress Diane Kruger, known for her roles in Helen and Troy, and Abdullah Al-Sadhan, a Saudi writer and actor.”
The festival jury will include celebrities such as director Bazz Luhrmann, Joel Kinnaman, Freida Pinto, Amina Khalil, and Page Vega.
Currently, Ranveer is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s cop universe’s next film, “Singham Again.” The film also features his wife, Deepika Padukone. Apart from this, Ranveer has Farhan Akhtar’s “Don 3” in his pipeline.
There are discussions about him collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film “Baiju Bawra.”
