It should be noted that on Tuesday evening, a rocket fell on a hospital in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of approximately 500 people. Hamas has accused Israel of carrying out this major attack, while Israel claims that rockets fired by the Islamic Jihad misfired and hit the hospital.
Joe Biden’s Arrival in Israel
On the other hand, American President Joe Biden has expressed regret over the situation in the hospital explosion in Gaza and its effects on the entire Middle East. The Israel-Hamas conflict has become more challenging due to the casualties in the blast. Biden was planning a trip to Jordan as part of his previously scheduled program but had to cancel his meeting with Arab leaders before departing from Washington. The opportunity for direct talks with leaders was missed during this critical period of conflict.
The fighting between Israel and Hamas began when armed Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip launched a sudden attack on Israel from land, air, and sea on October 7. Since the start of this conflict, approximately 2,778 Palestinians have lost their lives. According to Israeli official sources cited in media reports, at least 1,400 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed in Israel.
