PM Kisan 15th Installment: The ‘PM-Kisan Yojana’ (PM-Kisan Scheme) is recognized for its contribution to the economic security and well-being of farmers. Through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme, financial support of ₹6,000 per year is provided to all small and marginal farmers in three equal installments. So far, 14 installments of PM Kisan have been released, and farmers are eagerly awaiting the 15th installment. To receive the 15th installment of PM Kisan, certain essential tasks need to be completed before September 30th.
Farmers who wish to avail themselves of the benefits of the 15th installment must undergo e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) verification. If you have not completed e-KYC yet, you will not receive the next installment. The deadline for completing e-KYC is September 30, 2023.
The PM Kisan mobile app, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, now includes a ‘Face Authentication Feature.’ This feature allows farmers from remote areas to complete their e-KYC by scanning their faces, without the need for fingerprints or OTP (One-Time Password).
Farmers can check the status of their payment on the PM Kisan portal at http://pmkisan.gov.in in the ‘Kisan Corner.’
