Nithya Menen and Jayam Ravi unveiled the first look of their upcoming Tamil film, “Kadhalikka Neramillai,” set to hit screens soon.
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s romantic thriller, featuring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen in lead roles, was officially announced with the release of the film’s title and poster on Wednesday. The poster depicts the lead actors in an embrace with intertwined fingers. Fans appreciated that both leads were given equal importance, with Nithya’s name mentioned first.
“Kadhalikka Neramillai,” translating to ‘no time for love,’ shares its name with a 1964 hit Tamil film starring Balaiah and Rajasree. The original film tells the story of a man who falls for his boss’ daughter, leading to a comedic series of events involving mistaken identities. It’s unclear whether the filmmakers chose the same title for thematic reasons or if it’s coincidental.
The romantic thriller also features Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, and Lal in crucial roles. AR Rahman is set to compose the music, generating excitement among netizens. Gavemic Ary will handle cinematography, while Lawrence Kishore will manage editing. The film’s shooting is underway, with several schedules already completed. A release date and additional updates are yet to be announced.
