New Delhi: Procter & Gamble India, a consumer goods company renowned for brands like Ariel, Whisper, and Gillette, has recently announced the appointment of Mukta Maheshwari as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective from September 1st.
In addition to leading the marketing function within the company, Maheshwari will also take charge of heading the fabric care category for P&G India. Mukta will be succeeding Sharat Verma, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Fabric Care for P&G India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA), based in Dubai.
Mukta Maheshwari, who has over two decades of experience, joined P&G in 2007 in Singapore. Prior to her new role as CMO and head of the fabric care category, she served as Vice President for fabric enhancers in the ASEAN region, based in Singapore. Mukta holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
