The highly anticipated trailer for the Tamil superstar Vijay’s film “Leo” is finally here, and it’s creating quite a buzz. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie showcases Vijay in a tough and rugged role as he takes on a serial killer, a multitude of gangsters, and even a hyena.
The trailer begins with a breathtaking aerial view of the picturesque Kashmir Valley. A gripping narrative voice introduces the story of a ruthless serial killer, portrayed by ace choreographer Sandy Master, who unflinchingly opens fire in the middle of a road. We catch glimpses of Sanjay Dutt as Antony Das and Arjun as Harold Das. Then, we are introduced to Thalapathy Vijay as a “brave and bold police officer” who fearlessly confronts the serial killer.
However, the tables turn when Sanjay Dutt’s menacing villain makes his entrance, declaring, “He [Vijay] can fool this town. He can fool this world. But he can’t fool me.” Vijay, who has been trying to shield his family from the dark secrets of his past life, faces immense challenges dealing with the gangsters. The question now is whether Vijay can protect his family from this looming threat. The answer will be revealed on October 19.
The trailer also introduces us to Gautham Vasudev Menon as a police officer, while actress Trisha Krishnan plays Vijay’s wife in the film.
Within just an hour of its release, the “Leo” trailer amassed an astonishing 10 million views.
The star-studded cast of “Leo” includes Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand. The film is co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the film’s music. “Leo” marks Vijay and Anirudh’s third collaboration, following “Kaththi” and “Master.”
Before unveiling the trailer, the filmmakers shared the first-look posters, featuring Trisha Krishnan in a deep purple saree, looking shocked and with a blood-stained spear in the frame. The production house expressed their excitement, saying, “Unveiling the most-awaited look of Trisha. Leo Trailer is releasing today.”
With “Leo,” Trisha Krishnan and Vijay reunite on the big screen after a gap of 15 years. They have previously shared the screen in hit films like “Ghilli” and “Thirupaachi,” with their last collaboration being in the 2008 release “Kuruvi.”
