Naushad Khan finds himself immersed in nostalgia as he lands in Dubai to witness his youngest son, Musheer, make his debut for India U-19 in the Youth Asia Cup. Reminiscing about the time in 2014 when he traveled to Dubai to watch his eldest son, Sarfaraz, play for India U-19, Naushad is filled with pride and joy. Musheer, an 18-year-old promising top-order batsman and left-arm spinner, is set to represent India U-19 for the first time. Sarfaraz, his elder brother, has already left for South Africa to join the India A team. Sarfaraz, sharing his experiences, emphasizes the importance of hard work and dedication. Musheer has previously played for the Mumbai Ranji Trophy team and showcased his skills in various tournaments. In a recent quadrangular series, he scored a remarkable 127 off 47 balls for India A. Musheer’s outstanding performance in the U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy, where he was the highest wicket-taker and scored 438 runs, led to his selection in the India U-19 team. Musheer expresses his excitement for the opportunity, attributing his success to the support from the Mumbai Cricket Association and National Cricket Academy, and, most importantly, his father’s dream of seeing his children excel in cricket.
