YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav, recently visited the sets of Bigg Boss 17 to promote his show Temptation Island India. During this visit, he took a selfie with actor Salman Khan, but it was the caption that grabbed attention. The caption read, “वक़्त अजीब चीज़ है इसके साथ ढल गए तुम भी बहुत करीब थे अब बहुत बदल गए” (Time is a weird thing. Earlier you were too close, now you have changed). Elvish later clarified that the caption was not aimed at Salman Khan but was a piece of poetry.
During a podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Elvish explained, “Salman Khan is not my old friend that I will write that he has changed. I just wrote a shayari (poetry). Why would I write something like this for him?” He also shared an incident where Salman readily agreed to take a selfie despite restrictions on phone usage on the sets.
Elvish, who gained more popularity after winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, discussed how his life has changed. He mentioned the increase in his fan following, even from the south and international audiences. Regarding the challenges of fame, Elvish noted, “Earlier, I could go anywhere, but now I can leave my house only after 2-3 am. They recognize my cars also, so I have to go in cars which are not out in public.”
When asked about adjusting to the Bigg Boss house, Elvish shared that he adapted quickly, enjoying the lack of responsibilities and tensions in the house. However, he admitted that the confined space started to bother him after a certain time.
