The official trailer for the upcoming romantic film “Dono” was unveiled by the makers on Monday. “Dono” marks the Bollywood debut of Rajveer Deol and Paloma, the son of Sunny Deol and the daughter of actor Poonam Dhillon.
The film is directed by Avnish S Barjatya, the son of renowned filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, and is scheduled to be released on October 5.
Set against the backdrop of a grand destination wedding, the story revolves around Dev (Rajveer Deol), a friend of the bride, and Meghna (Paloma), a friend of the groom. Their paths cross during the extravagant Indian wedding festivities, leading to an unexpected connection between two strangers.
The trailer launch event took place in Mumbai, with the presence of Sunny Deol, Sooraj Barjatya, Poonam Dhillon, and the film’s cast and crew. After the trailer was released, fans flooded the comments section on YouTube and Instagram with excitement and positive feedback.
Fans expressed their anticipation for the film, with comments like “I am very excited,” “Can’t wait,” and “Rajveer Deol is going to rule the industry in the coming times.” Others praised the trailer as “fresh and impressive” and welcomed the arrival of the “New Deol.”
In June, Sunny Deol had shared the film’s first poster on Instagram, signaling the beginning of a new cinematic journey for Rajveer Deol and Paloma. The title track of the film was also released last month, with its launch featuring the iconic Rajshri pair, Salman Khan and Bhagyashree, who starred together in Sooraj Barjatya’s 1989 romantic film “Maine Pyar Kiya.”
