In anticipation of the increased passenger traffic expected on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas, Central Railway has announced the operation of 14 unreserved special trains to accommodate the surge in commuters. Three unreserved special trains will run from Nagpur to CSMT Mumbai, departing on December 4 and 5, 2023. Stops include prominent stations such as Ajni, Sewagram, Wardha, Pulgaon, Badnera, Akola, Jalgaon, Manmad, Dadar, and CSMT Mumbai. Additionally, six unreserved special trains will operate from CSMT Mumbai/Dadar to Sewagram/Ajni/Nagpur on December 6, 7, and 8, 2023, making stops at various stations. Two unreserved special trains between Kalaburagi and Mumbai are scheduled to run on December 5 and 7, 2023, with stops including Solapur, Daund, Pune, Kalyan, and Dadar. The compositions of these trains include General Second Class Coaches.
