Credit to the Players – “All the players practice day and night. I am happy that they showed some characters on the field.” Captain Surya talked about Kuldeep, saying, “He is never satisfied. He always has the hunger for wickets. He has given himself a good gift on his birthday.”
Balance is Essential in the Game – “What I mean is knowing your game is a good thing. I go to the field and enjoy the match. Balance is crucial.” After scoring a century in the third match (SA vs Ind 3rd T20I), Captain Surya was honored with the Player of the Match and Series awards.
Not Overjoyed, Says Aiden Markram – On the other hand, after the loss, South Africa’s captain Aiden Markram said, “I wasn’t too happy seeing 200 runs on the board. We felt we could win, and we could chase it down. When we bowled, the batsmen played shorts everywhere. Our bowling and fielding could have been better. There are some positive things we can take forward, and there are some areas we need to work on.”
