Apple Ceases Production of iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 Mini: Apple, through its official Twitter handle, has announced the discontinuation of its iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 Mini models. This means that the company will no longer manufacture these two phones. Many companies discontinue older models after some time, primarily due to a decline in demand. Demand often wanes due to the introduction of newer models boasting better technology and features.
Apple has recently launched the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus smartphones. The company made this announcement on the night of September 12th (according to Indian time). Pricing details for these smartphones have also been revealed. The starting price for the iPhone 15 is set at $799, while the iPhone 15 Plus will start at $899. However, the company has not yet disclosed the prices for the Indian market.
These smartphones feature a 48MP primary camera and come with various impressive camera features. Additionally, they are equipped with the A16 Bionic chipset, an upgrade from the previous year’s Pro models, which ensures improved performance. Non-Pro models will now offer more powerful performance. Furthermore, users can expect better battery life. The company has incorporated both wired and wireless connectivity options.
Noise Cancellation and SOS Feature: The call feature utilizes machine learning for noise cancellation, ensuring that background noise is significantly reduced during phone calls. This means that regardless of the surrounding noise, the phone call will be heard clearly. Apple has expanded its SOS and satellite calling features as well. An emergency road-site assistant feature has been added, allowing users to send emergency messages via satellite connectivity. The satellite feature will be available for free for two years.
