Actor Ajith Kumar, who recently underwent a brief hospitalization for a minor medical intervention, has been discharged and is now recuperating at home. The actor received treatment for a swollen nerve earlier this week.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared a status on his social media account, confirming Ajith’s return home on Saturday. He stated, “Actor #Ajithkumar has returned home from his recent hospital visit. All is well! (sic)” Additionally, a fan shared a distant picture of Ajith at a football field, addressing false claims about his health and urging focus on accurate information.
What happened
Earlier on Thursday, fans circulated videos and images of Ajith and his wife Shalini visiting Apollo Hospital in Chennai. While Ajith appeared in good health, rumors surfaced about him undergoing surgery to remove a brain cyst. However, Ramesh dismissed these rumors, reassuring fans about Ajith’s well-being.
Ajith’s spokesperson, Suresh Chandra, clarified to Zoom that the actor underwent a minor medical procedure to address swelling in a nerve between his ear and brain. Chandra explained, “Ajith sir was admitted to the hospital on Thursday for routine check-ups, where doctors identified swelling in the nerve. The issue was resolved with a simple procedure. Ajith is in good health.”

Ajith is set to appear in Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaa Muyarchi, alongside Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra. Filming for the action thriller is slated to resume later this month. Additionally, Ajith will star in a film helmed by Adhik Ravichandran.
