CTET 2023 Update: The DigiLocker platform can be accessed through its official website (digilocker.gov.in) and its dedicated app, compatible with Android and iOS devices. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced that it will issue marks sheets and eligibility certificates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 via DigiLocker, as part of its environmentally-conscious efforts and for the convenience of candidates.
The DigiLocker service offers accessibility through both its web portal and the app, catering to users using Android or iOS devices. Following the CTET August exam, DigiLocker accounts will be generated for all participants. Login details will be communicated to candidates through their registered mobile numbers, according to CBSE’s statement.
Incorporating enhanced security measures, CBSE plans to integrate an encrypted QR code onto the marks sheets and certificates. These codes can be scanned using the DigiLocker app, facilitating the verification of these documents digitally.
The national-level teacher eligibility exam was conducted on December 20 across two shifts. Paper 1, targeting classes 1 to 5, had a registration count of 15,01,719 candidates, while Paper 2, aimed at classes 6 to 8, had 14,02,184 applicants. Impressively, approximately 80 percent of the registered candidates actively participated in the examination.
As reported by candidates, the August iteration of the exam was perceived to have moderate to easy difficulty levels.
The upcoming step in this process involves the CBSE sharing provisional answer keys for both papers through the dedicated exam website, ctet.nic.in.
